1. To list the common types of pulmonary problems that occur in HIV-infected patients. 2. To know the relationship of the CD4 count to the occurrence of pulmonary infections. 3. To discuss the clinical presentation of the infectious and noninfectious pulmonary complications seen in HIV-infected patients. 4. To discuss strategies used to prevent infection in the HIV-infected population. 5. To understand how to diagnose and treat common pulmonary complications.
